All members of our faculty are DBS checked and hold a chaperone license, which enables us to work with children in entertainment.
Expressions Theatre Arts opened its doors on the 25th April 2010. We are based in Leigh-On-Sea and have some amazing facilities such as three state of the art studios, a studio theatre modern reception, and changing rooms.
We are extremely proud of the high calibre of training that we can offer at Expressions Theatre Arts and our 100% examination pass rate proves this. Emma trained at Laine Theatre Arts. Since graduating her career has taken her globally to Australia, China, New Zealand, Europe and USA with tours of Boogie Nights, Simply Ballroom, Twist and Shout, Dancing Queen and Spirit of the Dance. Whilst working in America Emma supported artists such as Hillary Swank, Ricky Martin and Sheryl Crow at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. Here in the UK Emma was the original cast in the Westend show ‘The London Folies’. Alongside Theatre Emma has been working in the Television and Commercial Dance Industry with BBC3, cable channel Brit Hits and artists such as Jay-Z, and the Sugababes.
Rebecca trained locally at Tiffany Stage Academy under Joanne Bond and Christine Campbell-Welch before being awarded a scholarship to London Studio Centre at the age of 16. From there she went on to Tiffany Theatre College for a year to obtain her ISTD teaching qualifications, also gaining 1st place at the ISTD Ballet Awards . On leaving college she went on a European tour with 'Fire of Dance'. Once returning to the UK Rebecca took up a teaching role locally where she was the Head of Dance winning Best Choreography at The British Troupe Championships. Alongside this she has been busy working professionally in the Commercial dance industry. Credits including, music videos, commercials, dance workout DVD, Clothes Show Live, CDUK, Popworld to name but a few.
